வேல் வழிபாட்டின் மகத்துவம்:

முருகப்பெருமானின் வேல் வழிபாடு தொன்மை வாய்ந்தது,நம்முடைய முன்னோர்கள் வீட்டிலேயே வேலை வைத்து வணங்கி வந்தனர். முருகப்பெருமானின் வேல் ஞானம் மற்றும் வீரத்தை குறிக்கும் ஒரு புனிதமான சின்னம், வேல் வழிபாடு நமது தீவினைகளையும், தீய குணங்களையும் அழித்து நம்மை செம்மைப்படுத்துகிறது.

வேல் வழிபாட்டினை வீட்டில்/ தொழில் செய்யும் இடங்களில் செய்யலாமா?:

வேலை நாம் வீட்டில்/ தொழில் செய்யும் இடங்களில் வைத்து தாராளமாக வைத்து பூஜித்து வழிபடலாம். விக்கிரகங்களை வவைத்து வழிபடுவது போன்ற நியதி எல்லாம் வேல் வழிபாட்டிற்கு கிடையாது. எனவே அச்சம் இன்றி பூஜை அறையில் வேலை வைத்து வணங்கி வரலாம். ஒரு அடி, அரை அடி, மற்றும் அதற்கும் சிறிய அளவில் கூட வாங்கி வைத்து பூஜிக்கலாம். இந்த வேல் ஐம்பொன்னாலோ, வெள்ளி, பித்தனை, செம்பு ஆகிய உலோகத்தாலோ அல்லது கருங்காலி மரத்தினால் செய்யப்பட்டதாகவோ இருக்கலாம்.

கருங்காலி வேலை முதலில் பாலில் ஒருமுறை கழுவி சுத்தம் செய்து விட்டு பின்னர் சுத்தமான நீரில் கழுவிவிட்டு நன்கு காய்ந்த பின்னர், ஒரு தூய்மையான துணி கொண்டு துடைத்து விட்டு, ஒரு நல்ல நேரத்தில் பூஜை அறையில் ஒரு பித்தளை அல்லது செம்பு தாம்பாளத்தில் நாட்டு மாட்டு திருநீறு அல்லது பச்சரிசியை குமித்து வைத்து கருங்காலி வேலை அதில் ஊன்றி வைக்க வேண்டும். பித்தளை அல்லது செம்பு தாம்பாளம் இல்லை என்றால் வெள்ளை அல்லது மஞ்சள் நிற துணியில் வைக்கலாம், வெள்ளை துணியை மஞ்சளில் நனைத்து காயவைத்து அதில் கூட நாட்டு மாட்டு திருநீறு அல்லது பச்சரிசியை குமித்து வைத்து வேலை ஊன்றி வைக்கலாம்.

தினமும் நாம் சாமி கும்பிடும்போது கருங்காலி வேலுக்கு மஞ்சள், குங்குமம், சந்தனம் இட்டு மலர்களால் அலங்கரித்து, முருக பெருமானுக்கு உரிய மந்திரங்கள், உரிய பாடல்கள், 108 போற்றி அல்லது கந்தசஷ்டி கவசம் படித்து, தூப தீப ஆர்த்தி காட்டி வணங்கி வழிபட்டால் போதுமானது. அபிஷேகம் தேவை இல்லை, நைவேத்தியம் கட்டாயம் இல்லை. மாதாந்திர சஷ்டி அன்று தாம்பாளத்தில் உள்ள நாட்டு மாட்டு திருநீறு அல்லது பச்சரிசியை மாற்றி புதிய திருநீறு அல்லது பச்சரிசியை வைக்கலாம், ஏற்கனவே வைத்திருந்த திருநீறை பத்திரப்படுத்தி நாம் தினமும் பூசிகொள்ளலாம், பச்சரிசியை சைவ உணவு சமைப்பதற்கு உபயோகிக்கலாம்.

Can Vel Pooja be performed at home/place of business?:

We can keep the work at home/places of work and worship it liberally. Vail worship does not have all the canons of worshiping idols. So you can work and worship in the pooja room without fear. One foot, half foot, and even smaller sizes can be bought and poojaed. This vel may be made of gold, silver, brass, copper, or ebony.

Method of Worshiping Blackberry Veal:

The ebony work should first be washed once in milk and cleaned and then washed with clean water and dried well, then wiped with a clean cloth, and at an auspicious time in the pooja room, a brass or copper thambalam should be soaked in domestic cow milk or bachari and the ebony work should be placed in it. If there is no brass or copper tampalam, it can be placed in a white or yellow cloth, the white cloth can be soaked in turmeric and dried and also soaked in native cow's milk or bitter rice and kept for work.

Every day when we bow to Sami, we decorate the ebony tree with flowers of turmeric, saffron, sandalwood, read mantras, songs, 108 praises or kandashashti kavasam for Lord Muruga, light incense and offer worship. Abhishekam is not required and Naivediya is not mandatory. On monthly shashti we can change the country cow thiruneeru or pacharisi in thambalam and put new thiruneeru or pacharisi, we can preserve the existing tiruneeru and apply it daily, bacharisi can be used for cooking vegetarian food.
